On Wednesday, May 14th, the Senate Health & Welfare Committee will hear SB 738 and HB 861, the Human Cloning Bans. It is necessary to get a majority vote from this committee to move to the Senate floor.

On Wednesday, May 14th, the Senate Health & Welfare Committee will hear SB 738 and HB 861, the Human Cloning Bans. It is necessary to get a majority vote from this committee to move to the Senate floor.
Help us pass the Cloning Ban by doing three things:
- Join us in Baton Rouge next Wednesday to show your support for SB 738 and HB 370. We will be meeting between 8:00-8:30 AM on the steps of the Capitol. Please click here to RSVP and get more info!
- Contact the swing votes of the H&W Committee, Senators Heitmeier and Cassidy, especially if you live in their district, and ask them to support SB 738. Say "Senator ________, please support SB 738, the Human Cloning Prohibition Act that will be heard in your committee on Wednesday, May 14th. It is important for Louisiana to support ethical and successful stem cell research, not the destructive and unsuccessful practice of human cloning."
