- Should free contraceptives be mandated in the new healthcare?
Planned Parenthood thinks so.
The Committee for Preventive Services for Women created by the Institute of Medicine at the direction of the HHS, held a hearing to discuss free contraception as a preventive health service. Groups advocating for the coverage, like Planned Parenthood, provide contraceptives to teens without parental notice. Pro-family, pro-life groups in attendance were AUL and FRC and Catholic representatives included the USCCB and Catholic Charities. A decision will be rendered next August. Comments may be made at the Institute of Medicine website. - Support H.R. 5939 - the "No Taxpayer Funding for Abortion Act" "The No Taxpayer Funding for Abortion Act will establish a government-wide statutory prohibition on abortion funding. The bipartisan bill, HR 5939, has over 150 original cosponsors and will reduce the need for numerous separate policies to prevent government funding for abortion."
- Oppose Supreme Court nominee Elena Kagan nomination The National Right to Life Committee is asking Senators to reject Elena Kagan due to her anti-life positions on issues such as abortion assisted suicide and human cloning.
- Oppose National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2011 (DoD) (S.3280). The bill contains two provisions that seek to use the military to further a liberal political agenda; the Burris amendment would ensure abortion is made available on domestic and foreign U.S. military bases and a second provision which was attached in committee by Senator Carl Levin (D-Mich.) calls for a repeal of "Don't Ask Don't Tell."
- Oppose U.S. Ratification of the Convention on the Rights of the Child - Protect Your Parental RightsKey Senators have been promoting U.S. ratification of this international treaty since early 2009. If ratified, the UN-CRC would radically alter the flow of power in the United States, taking away the authority of parents to decide matters pertaining to the lives of their children, and giving that power away to the United Nations. An 18-member international panel would decide what is best for American children and, hence, for America's future.
- Contact Catholic Members of Congress Ask them to reject any public plan that will offer abortion coverage and federally fund abortion.
- Contact your Senators and ask that they oppose the Financial Services Appropriations Bill unless amended

- Ask Members of Congress to Reject Pro-Abortion measures inserted into appropriations bill
- US Bishops Ask Senate for Ethical Health Care Coverage Contact Catholic members of Congress and ask that they reject health care reform that includes abortion coverage
- Stop the Global Women's Office from Promoting Abortion Worldwide Five Catholic Representatives reject a pro-life amendment which would exclude promoting abortion through the new "Global Women's Issue" Office
- Oppose Sebelius Nomination Governor Sebelius has an established pro-abortion record at the state level. She has a long-time association with abortionist Dr. George Tiller who contributed $200k to her reelection effort and has not been forthright with the Sebnate Cmte on the contributions she has received.

Prayer Campaign for the Conversion of Catholic Politicians - Began June 22, 2009 on the Feast Day of St. Thomas More
One Nation Under God is launching a prayer campaign to further foster a Culture of Life through the conversion of Catholic politicians.
We invite you to join in this effort by praying for the conversion of our political leaders who hold such great sway over the lives of the innocent. Your participation would include adopting a prominent Catholic politician and his bishop and pledging a daily spiritual devotion for one year. We trust that through your prayers and through ongoing spiritual direction with the local ordinary, these Catholic politicians will return to their baptismal promises and abandon their support for anti-life policy.

- USCCB President Cardinal George Urges Catholics to contact President Obama asking him to keep Conscience Protections for Health Care Workers - Pro-life advocates can express their opposition to the Obama proposal by emailing proposedrescission@hhs.gov. The deadline for submitting comments is April 9.

Looking for an apostolate? OneNationUnderGod.org is looking for volunteers for State Chair in the state you reside. Responsibilities include implementing OneNationUnderGod objectives at the state; educating and monitoring state Catholic legislators on pending pro-life legislation, promoting dialogue with unfaithful Catholic state legislators and local ordinary, accountability from Catholic constituents and raising awareness among Catholic citizens.
