  • HB1343 AN ACT CONCERNING COMPASSIONATE CARE FOR VICTIMS OF SEXUAL ASSAULT "An Act  Concerning Compassionate Care For Victims of Sexual Assault", which seeks to aid rape victims, is also a serious threat to religious freedom in Connecticut.  Catholic hospitals, which already provide emergency contraception to rape victims, and have a written protocol ensuring the patients access to this medication, would be forced to provide the medication, even when it will destory a conceived human life (abortion). • HB7395 Marriage Equality To authorize persons of the same sex to enter into marriage. This bill's only purpose is to redefine society's definition of marriage.
