Increases penalties for procuring a minor for prostitution. Provides enhanced penalties for forcing, compelling, or coercing another to become a prostitute. Increases penalties for selling or buying minors into sex trafficking or prostitution. S 1602: Relating to Abortion/Parental Notice
This bill clarifies the provisions for granting a waiver of parental notice for a minor to have an abortion and requires that minors be appointed a guardian ad litem to represent the minor when seeking a waiver. The bill also specifies factors to be considered in determining whether minor is sufficiently mature to waive notice requirements.

This bill appropriates $20 million in bio-medical research funding that does not destroy or harm human embryos. The bill also creates the Stem Cell Research Advisory Council and the Biomedical Ethics Advisory Council. It also bans the practice of human cloning. SUPPORT
